Its just amazing and you can buy all sorts of things as you would expect from a bustling central market. It is traditional bazaar located in the center of the old town of Tashkent. But makes it different and attractive is that it sits under its blue-colored dome.

Splendid bazaar - lots to see & experience. I highly recommend you to pay a visit here on your Uzbekistan trip. Itll heighten your senses! Theres a supermarket at the back of Chorsu building - we bought cookies from here. Theres also a veggies and poultry shop at the back of the building. The veggies are fresh and affordable. If youre staying in an Airbnb and can cook, you might want to buy & take a few with you. If youre vegan - you might want to avoid the meats section on the ground floor. Just a personal observation. The first floor sells dry fruits at an affordable rate. Certain sections of the ground floor have shops selling yogurt, dairy and pickles - these also were great. If you cant speak Russian or Uzbek - you might face some issues in communicating with the sellers but, its NOT a big hurdle. They often negotiate the prices by showing you the digits on a calculator. You can bargain freely with the shopkeepers as they often begin the conversation with a much higher rate than due. You can take a cab here or come by metro. Theres also a gold souk nearby to Chorsu.
